About Us
PLAIN is all about building community.
PLAIN's mission statement is to foster the spirit of community within Pine Lake, and to contribute to the spirit of the broader community around us.
The Neighbor2Neighbor (N2N) program is a core program of PLAIN. N2N seeks to foster the unique character of Pine Lake through community engagement. We have three goals:
- Supporting the continuing vitality of the Pine Lake community.
- Providing opportunities for PLAIN members engage with each other and contribute to the community.
- Use the unique strength of the Pine Lake community to create positive change, in targeted ways, in our surrounding community.
The N2N program has four areas of activity. Use the links here to learn more about each of the initiatives.
Critical components of N2N are the ideas, participation, and contributions of the Pine Lake community. Bring your ideas to the PLAIN Board, take part in and volunteer with activities, help support our nearby school, and donate to the N2N program. Your gifts help support all four initiatives listed above. There are several ways to donate: PayPal, send a check to PLAIN at PO Box 44, Pine Lake, GA 30072, or make a donation in person at one of our many PLAIN events. Thank you!
PLAIN holds monthly meetings at the Beach House on the third Thursday of each month (except December) at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend, we hope to see you there!
